What’s Expected and What’s Included

In order to go on any of our rides you will need to meet the following qualifications:

A 50% deposit is required when you book your ride and the balance is due no later than 24 hours before the ride. We accept Venmo, Paypal and most major credit cards. All of your deposit is returned if the ride is cancelled due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control. You will forfeit ALL of your deposit if you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled ride. Prices are subject to change at any time. Please check our website for any pricing updates or changes. We strongly encourage you to book hotel rooms that can be canceled up to 24 hours before arrival. It is NOT critical that everyone stays at the same hotel. Passengers always ride for free.

  1. You will be required to sign our standard release form(s). No exceptions. Forms include a General Release of Liability Form, No Alcohol/Drug Agreement and Riding Skills Questionnaire/Release.
  2. You must have a current driver’s license with an active motorcycle endorsement.
  3. You must have a current copy of your insurance for your motorcycle
  4. You are expected to know how to ride a motorcycle on public highways and do so in a manner that is safe for you and the other riders in your group. We only ride at posted speed limits on all of our rides and you will be expected to do the same. You will be asked about your riding experience when you first sign up for the ride. You MUST be completely honest with us when we ask you those questions. If we feel that you mislead us about your riding experience and capabilities and safety is a concern we will terminate the ride immediately and no refunds will be given.
  5. You must have your own motorcycle. You can own it or rent it or borrow it from a friend (as long as you have insurance), you just have to have your own bike to ride. We strongly suggest that you have your bike serviced and checked out prior to your ride.
  6. No alcohol or drugs will be consumed during any of our rides. No exceptions. Doing so will end your ride immediately and no refund will be given. Once we reach our destination you are free to do whatever you want.
  7. It’s a good idea if you have a Road Side Assistance program in place prior to the ride in case something goes wrong with your bike and you are unable to finish the ride. This can be through your insurance carrier, an extended warranty or some other memberships like AAA. If something happens and you cannot continue it is up to you to take care of getting your bike to a shop for repairs or towed to your home town. We will not abandon the entire group ride if you cannot continue. Again, please have your bike serviced or checked out prior to the ride.

What’s NOT included on each of our rides

  1. All meals, overnight lodging and any fuel or maintenance costs for your bike are not included.
  2. It is up to you to wear and pack the correct clothing for the ride. We will not have extra jackets, gators or gloves for you to borrow or purchase.
  3. It is your responsibility to pack water/drinks and snacks for the entire trip. We will allow time at gas stops for you to replenish your supply each time we stop.
  4. We will stop for everyone to take photos at pre-determined locations along the ride. There’s NO stopping on your own or dropping out of the group to take photos. No exceptions. Doing so will end your ride for that day.
  5. CB radios will be used between the lead and the sweep road captains on each ride but it is not required or expected that our riding guests have communication with the rest of the group. It’s fine if you do have a CB and want to use it and we will be glad to share what channel we will be on but it’s not a requirement.
  6. We do not provide printed maps of our rides and routes either before or after the ride.

What’s IS included on each of our rides

  1. Although we do not handle booking your hotel rooms or planning/providing any of your meals, you will be sent an email which will provide you with a very detailed itinerary of our ride which will include suggestions for hotels and restaurants in the area where we are staying. It is NOT imperative that we all stay at the same hotel although we can. Please book hotel rooms that can be canceled up to the last minute in case the weather or some other event out of our control forces us to cancel your ride.
  2. You will receive a Just Ride Goody Bag that includes a short-sleeve t-shirt, a Just Ride patch, a commemorative decal of the ride and other fun items. Following the ride you’ll be sent an email with a link to our on-line gallery with all of the high-resolution photos from the ride that you can download and we will have a DropBox folder with all of the professionally edited videos of a few of the highlights of the ride.
  3. We will always assist you if you have an issue with your bike that can be easily diagnosed and fixed quickly. We carry extra gas, we have basic tools (i.e. a shifter linkage breaks), we have battery chargers as well as other gadgets to help you get back on the road.
